![]() I can't even remember enough, but he stayed pissed for as very long time. ![]() I accidentally saved my save on top of my brother's. You can imagine the number of hours we had spent in the game. ![]() For your information, the game is usually finished when you are level 30~35, so we battled A LOT. I remember I had a save that was level 50 and his one was level 70. It's a hard game to progress through if you don't understand English at all, so we were stuck and mostly battle through for fun. Bonus (not really save corrupted): When I was really, really little my older brother and I loved to play a game called Legend of Mana on PS1. Witcher 3 on PS4 felt somehow worse, but I'm still hopefully that I will go back and love at the least the third one. Tried to go back, but retired quickly afterwards. The game was illegal and the console was a jailbroken one, so it might have influenced a tiny bit. I had played the very first Act and was midway through the second one until I loaded the next day and the save was gone. I don't remember the other one, but the one I do was The Witcher 2: Assassin of the Kings (something like this). In the Xbox 360 era, I had 2 games that just erased my game from nothing. We barely reached Seymour, got punched in the guts by him and some days later on the memory card stopped working - losting not only other saves of games we had beaten but also where we were at FFX :(. So, he proposed we played Final Fantasy X together as both never played. A few years later, the very same friend was interesting in trying some Final Fantasy as he had never played, but I had already played FF7, FF8 and FF9 by then. ![]() To my friend's happiness though, I was a jRPG nerd and beat CD1 and CD2 for him in the next few days as I had already beaten the game lol. We tried to reset the game and to our surprise not only the data wasn't with "CD 2 cleared" as it was also corrupted as well. We had just finished CD2, saved but something was strange as it didn't message "Successfully saved data." don't matter the number of times we tried to save. In this old games, you had to finish a CD, create a "cleared CD -1" save data and load then on the next CD. ![]() More than 10 years ago, my friend and I were playing Legend of Dragoon, a jRPG classic on Playstation 1 which have 4 CDs. ![]()
